At LearnAid Nursery, we provide high-quality childcare and early education for children aged 9 months to 5 years, within a safe, caring, nurturing and stimulating environment where every child is supported to Learn, Play and Grow.

We offer access to 15 and 30 hours of funded childcare, subject to eligibility, helping families benefit from high-quality early education and care. Our experienced and dedicated team works closely with parents and families to give every child the best possible start during these important early years.

LearnAid Nursery benefits from its own secure private on-site car park, providing parents and carers with convenient access when dropping off and collecting their little learners. This helps make the daily nursery routine easier, safer and more comfortable for both children and their families.

Our Extensive Provision

At LearnAid Nursery, our nursery is thoughtfully organised into three dedicated age-based rooms, allowing children to progress naturally through our setting as they grow and develop.

Each environment is carefully planned, generously resourced and designed to support children’s learning, development and wellbeing in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

🐛 Baby Caterpillars – 9 to 18 Months

Our Baby Caterpillar Room provides our youngest learners with a warm, safe, calm and nurturing introduction to nursery life.

The environment is specifically designed around the needs of babies, providing age-appropriate opportunities for sensory exploration, early communication, movement and play while supporting the development of secure and positive relationships.

Our practitioners work closely with parents and carers to understand each baby's individual routines, needs and stage of development, helping them feel safe, secure and happy while in our care.

🐛 Caterpillars – 18 Months to 3 Years

Our Caterpillar Room supports children through an exciting period of development when their communication, confidence, independence and curiosity are rapidly growing.

Children have access to a wide range of carefully planned learning experiences and continuous provision, encouraging them to explore, communicate, make choices, develop independence and learn through play.

Our practitioners support each child's individual development and help them build the confidence and skills needed for their eventual transition into our Butterfly Room.

🦋 Butterflies – 3 to 5 Years

Our Butterfly Room provides a spacious, stimulating and engaging environment where our older children can continue to develop their knowledge, skills and confidence.

Through carefully planned activities and continuous provision, children are encouraged to develop their independence, communication, creativity, problem-solving skills and curiosity.

As children approach school age, we focus on developing the skills and positive attitudes that will support a confident and successful transition into school.

Freshly Prepared Meals – Cooked On-Site

Our nursery has its own fully equipped kitchen, where nutritious meals are freshly prepared and cooked on-site.

We believe mealtimes are an important part of children's learning and development, providing opportunities to develop independence, social skills, good table manners and positive attitudes towards healthy eating.

Outdoor Learning & Physical Development

All our children have regular opportunities to enjoy our well-resourced outdoor learning and play area.

Outdoor play allows children to explore, investigate and learn while developing strength, balance, coordination and gross motor skills through purposeful and active play.

From Baby Caterpillars to Butterflies

Our three-room structure provides children with a natural learning journey through LearnAid Nursery:

Baby Caterpillars (9–18 months) → Caterpillars (18 months–3 years) → Butterflies (3–5 years)

As children grow, their learning environment grows with them. Each stage builds upon the previous one, supporting children to become increasingly confident, independent, curious and ready for their next steps.

From their first days with us as a Baby Caterpillar to the day they leave us as a confident Butterfly ready for school, we aim to make their early years journey a happy, nurturing and memorable one.

All learning areas at LearnAid Nursery are generously proportioned, thoughtfully planned and extensively resourced to create stimulating and inspiring environments where children can explore, discover and Learn, Play and Grow with confidence.

We pride ourselves on providing children with a wide range of engaging, age-appropriate activities and learning experiences that support their individual interests, needs and stages of development.

All children have regular access to our outdoor learning and play areas, giving them opportunities to extend their learning beyond the classroom. Outdoor experiences are incorporated across all areas of the EYFS curriculum, supporting children’s physical development, creativity, curiosity, confidence, independence and understanding of the world.

Whether learning indoors or outdoors, our aim is to provide every child with meaningful, enjoyable and enriching experiences that encourage them to explore, develop new skills and reach their individual potential.
