At LearnAid Nursery, we believe the early years provide the foundations for a lifelong love of learning, discovery and exploration. Our dedicated and experienced practitioners are committed to providing high-quality early education and childcare within a safe, nurturing, stimulating and inspiring environment where every child is valued as an individual.
Guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), we provide a rich variety of carefully planned, hands-on learning experiences that encourage children to explore, question, communicate, create and develop their independence. Our practitioners consider each child's individual interests, needs and stage of development, enabling us to provide meaningful learning opportunities that help every child progress and reach their potential.
Our Islamic Ethos
Our Islamic ethos is at the heart of LearnAid Nursery and is naturally woven into children's everyday experiences and learning.
Through age-appropriate activities, stories and conversations, children are introduced to Islamic values, Sunnah, daily duas, good manners and character, alongside opportunities to learn about Allah and develop gratitude for the world around them.
Where appropriate, we connect Islamic learning with children's current EYFS topics and experiences, helping make their learning relevant and meaningful. Whether children are exploring nature, families, animals, food, our community or the wider world, we encourage them to make connections between their learning, their faith and their everyday lives.
We also support children to understand what it means to be a kind, confident and respectful Muslim within a diverse community and wider world. Values such as kindness, honesty, compassion, respect, patience, gratitude, sharing and caring for others are encouraged throughout nursery life.

We recognise that every child develops differently and brings their own personality, interests, experiences and abilities to nursery.
Through personalised care, positive relationships, purposeful play and hands-on learning, we aim to nurture each child's confidence, curiosity, creativity and enthusiasm for learning.
From a child's first experiences with us through to preparing for school, our goal is to provide strong foundations that support not only their educational development, but also their social, emotional, physical and personal growth.

Free Childcare
We accept all childcare vouchers and offer 15–30 funded hours of childcare for children aged 9 months to 4 years, subject to a valid eligibility code. We recommend enquiring as early as possible to help ensure availability of your preferred sessions and start date.

Did you know?
- Two-year-olds get 15 free hours of childcare here at LearnAid Nursery.
- If you are in receipt of any benefits, you are entitled to 15 hours.
15 Hours of Free Childcare for 3–4 Year Olds
- All 3–4-year-olds get 15 free hours of childcare here at LearnAid Nursery.
- You can use your funding to suit your childcare needs, as we have flexible childcare options to accommodate your family’s needs.
- You can claim it from the term after your child’s 3rd birthday.
30 Hours Free Childcare
You may be eligible for up to 30 hours of free childcare per week for children aged 9 months to 5 years, available to families where both parents are working. To check your eligibility and apply, please visit the Best Start in Life government website.

Universal Credit /full Time Student Finance
- If you or your partner are working, or you’re due to start work, and you're claiming Universal Credit, you can claim back up to 85% of your eligible childcare costs for children under 16.
