At LearnAid Nursery, we are proud to have been rated Good in all areas following our Ofsted inspection – an important milestone in our continued journey of growth and improvement.
We were particularly pleased that Ofsted recognised the strong partnerships we have developed with our parents and families and highlighted the positive experiences parents have of our provision.

For us, this recognition reflects what has always been at the heart of LearnAid – providing children with a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment where they feel valued, supported and excited to learn.
Our Story
The LearnAid journey began with humble roots and a strong connection to the Oldham community.
Our founder, an experienced teacher of English who previously worked within one of Oldham's outstanding schools, recognised the importance of providing children and young people within the borough with access to high-quality education and opportunities to achieve their potential.
This vision initially led to the creation of LearnAid Tuition, and our passion for education and supporting local families eventually developed into LearnAid Nursery.
Today, we are privileged to work with children and families from a wonderful variety of cultures, ethnicities and backgrounds.
Oldham is particularly important to us because it is the community in which our founder was born, raised and educated. Being able to give something back to the community that helped shape us remains an important part of the LearnAid story.
Every Child Deserves the Opportunity to Flourish
Our greatest inspiration comes from the children and families we work with every day.
We recognise that every child is unique, with their own personality, interests, abilities and experiences. Our practitioners are committed to providing the care, encouragement and learning opportunities each child needs to develop their confidence and reach their individual potential.
Our provision is guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and combines purposeful play, carefully planned learning experiences and positive relationships to support children's development.
Alongside children's educational development, our Islamic ethos helps us promote positive values and character, including kindness, respect, honesty, compassion, gratitude and caring for others, while helping children understand and respect the diverse community and wider world in which they live.
Preparing Children for Their Next Journey
From the moment a child joins the LearnAid family, our aim is to help them become happy, confident, independent and enthusiastic learners.
As children progress through our nursery, we work closely with families to build strong foundations across their learning and development. As they approach school age, we place particular emphasis on developing the confidence, communication, independence, resilience and positive attitude towards learning that will support a successful transition into Reception.
When the time eventually comes for our Butterflies to spread their wings and leave the LearnAid family, we want them to do so feeling confident, capable and excited about the next chapter of their educational journey.
