Funded Childcare Hours

All children with a valid government funding code for 15 or 30 hours of funded childcare can access their funded hours completely free of charge (£0 cost).

Funded sessions are available Monday to Friday during the following times:

• Morning session: 9:00am – 12:00pm
• Afternoon session: 12:00pm – 3:00pm

There are no charges for funded hours during these sessions.

Additional Information

• Parents are required to provide nappies and wipes.
• The only additional costs to parents are:
  Nursery dinners for children attending the morning session (if choosing nursery-provided meals)
  Snacks for children attending the afternoon session (if provided by the nursery)
  Any extracurricular activities, where these have been agreed in advance with parents

Eligibility

• If both parents are working, children are entitled to 30 hours of funded childcare from the age of 9 months, subject to meeting government criteria.
• Families who receive Universal Credit may be entitled to 15 hours of funded childcare from the age of 2.
